Look what I've got - it's my undergraduate diploma from the University of the Philippines! An officer from the secretary's office of my college, College of Social Science and Philosophy, says that diplomas from the University of the Philippines are printed in the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas. The said bank is also the one responsible for printing the paper bills in the country. According to him, the UP diploma has a special security feature that only a few people know about which proves it genuineness over counterfeit ones. Fact or made-up? I don't know myself. What's important is that I finally got the proof that I have indeed finished college. All those years just for a piece of paper. Kind of ironic right?

Today was my first time to be a guest speaker. They even gave me a certificate. It's wonderful that I have an opportunity like this even if I'm not originally the one invited to speak. My short talk was about climate change and the core message of the Earth Hour. I was given 30 minutes, but I finished it in 15 minutes. I wish I had control of my presentation so the talked flowed better, but overall I think it went well.
