A lot of us take their hometowns for granted. Truth is, there is so much more to discover in places we think we already know. Take for instance my home Iloilo City. The city is so rich in cultural heritage and history - but the fact that I grew up here makes me feel so comfortable staying in its premises that I tend to forget how amazing this city really is sometimes. Iloilo City's rich history and warm people would surely get one feel at home immediately. Add up the fact that the city government is investing a lot on development of new spaces for the public to enjoy, Iloilo is on it's way to becoming one of the country's most well-planned places. Here are some photos I took during my countless afternoon walking around.

You folks should visit my city sometime. It's distinctly Filipino, very peaceful and has obvious mix of Chinese, Spanish and Indian cultures (you can see Indians in their motorcycles in the inner part of the city). The city is very much alive in trade, architecture and food! I'm so proud of my city, and always find ways to promote it. So come and visit the place I call home, and you'll surely enjoy your time here. I love Iloilo City, and you will too!
