Today was a Saturday afternoon well spent as my friends Drin, Ian and I visited the sky deck of Bayleaf, Hotel. It's great how these two took some time off their busy schedules to meet up with me when I myself am swarmed by graduate school requirements. We had a full Saturday to ourselves, but I choose to write about this certain visit as it's definitely a must-do when you find yourself in Manila.

The Bayleaf Hotel is located inside the walled city of Intramuros. Visiting the said place, or Manila overall, wouldn't be complete without getting up the sky deck of the said hotel to get a full 360 degree and unobstructed view of the Philippine capital's skyline. We had the opportunity to spend time over there with the cloudy skies hovering up and above us. It's the perfect place to spend up with your friends, and just chill over a nice drink.

Here are some photos my friends and I took:

The sky bar is known for its splendid view of Manila's world famous sunset. We didn't get to see it from up there, but I tell you it's one of the best places to witness it. Spending the evening there would also be a good thing to put on your weekend schedules. As for myself, I just enjoyed spending my Saturday with the guys, catching up on what's up and what's not, and planning on our next adventure.

Here are some other blog entries I've come across where the bloggers talked about their experience in the same venue. Just click over their respective links: Jin Loves To Eat, Our Awesome Planet, Glutton Anonymous, The Manila Survival Guide, Pusang Kalye and Just Wandering
